Tuesday, 9 April 2013 – 12.00 to 14.00 – Research Beehive, Room 2.22
Marie Curie Individual Fellowships are aimed at experienced researchers with more than 4 years’ research experience and/or a PhD and cover all areas of research, including the socio-economic sciences and humanities. The researcher and the host institution jointly submit a proposal for a research project on a topic of their choice.
The briefing will cover the preparation of a successful proposal for the Marie Curie Individual Fellowships call which was launched on 14 March 2013 with a deadline of 14 August 2013.
Peter Hopkins (GPS), who is an expert evaluator for Marie Cure Individual Fellowships, will share his experiences of the scheme, and we hope to have input from Sam Turner (HCA), who is a PI (host supervisor) on a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship.
This session is primarily aimed at people from HaSS but attendees from SAgE and Medical Sciences will also be welcome if they are unable to attend the session on 24 April.
The event will start with lunch at 12.00, followed by the actual briefing at 12.30.
