How to write an effective personal statement for medical school
To help you get ahead of the competition, we’ve organised an online interactive workshop for you to find out what medical schools look for in applications, directly from the people involved in medical school recruitment. The workshop is aimed at students and graduates thinking of applying to medicine.
Sign up to find out:
- What should you include in your statement?
- How do you structure your personal statement?
- What is the admission board really looking for?
As well as hints, tips and advice from the Careers Service, you’ll get the chance to put your questions (anonymously if you prefer!) to Dr. Richard Price, former DPD for Accelerated Medicine, Newcastle Medical School.
Date: Monday 18th February
Time: 9:00 – 9:50 am
How to sign up:
This session is capped on a first come first served basis.
To register your interest, fill in our online form no later than Thursday 14th February, and we’ll send you an invite with instructions on how to join the online workshop.
