Celebrate International Women’s Day, by attending a special event at the Business School focusing on the contribution of women to social renewal and economic prosperity.

International Women’s Day Event
Thursday, 8th March 2012 12:00PM – 4:30PM at Newcastle University Business School, 5 Barrack Road, Newcastle upon Tyne

Celebrating the Contribution of Women to Social Renewal and Economic Prosperity

Highlighting the invention, innovation, entrepreneurial and charitable activities of women. Speakers: Eija Pessinen, Dinah Bennett OBE, Deborah Jaffe, Professor Pooran Wynarczyk. Chair: Carmen Thompson.

This Event is organised by the Small Enterprise Research Unit (SERU)/Newcastle University Business School in collaboration with the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and aims to celebrate the contribution of women to social renewal and economic prosperity through their invention, innovation, entrepreneurial and charitable activities.
