Interested in working with the Careers Service?

We have  a great paid opportunity for a postgraduate student interested in developing their communication skills and knowledge of graduate recruitment to join our team of CV interns and working 6 – 12 hours per week.  You will  provide 1-1 CV and covering letter feedback to students and graduates of all degree disciplines and all academic stages as part of a drop-in service, via e-mail and at Careers Service events.

The successful applicant will undertake relevant training with regard to best practice in CV writing and basic advice and guidance skills.  They will be expected to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the resources and services offered by the Careers Service and liaise effectively with colleagues across the Careers Service.

Applicants must be a Newcastle University postgraduate student and available throughout the academic year 2009/10.
